about J.M. Cortés

My appreciation for writing began early and throughout my life I have expressed it through outlets such as poetry and short stories. The commentaries in Kratos en Logos are representative of non-fiction material I have been writing for the last 10 years.

My aim is to cause the reader to think and to be inspired. A 19th century author named Edward Bulwer-Lytton coined the phrase “the pen is mightier than the sword”. Without any reservation I believe this; the power and influence of the written word is unlike no other. To that end my desire is to challenge and motivate my readers to deliberate upon what they find in Kratos en Logos.

Respectfully,

J.M. Cortés

  1. Love your material… you are keeping a very low profile for the insightful ideas that you are handling in this virtual oikon-gymnasion that you’ve created… keep doing it man, kudos!

  2. Hello JM Thank you for the follow! Please be aware that my blog is a bilingual one.
So you may get links to some poems in English as well as to some in Italian…
I’m trying to keep the posting balanced between the two languages. Keep up the good work and Happy New Year!
    Anna
